ELIMINATE MUCOSITIES
They are anti-TanYin formulas (mucosity and phlegm) and treat diseases caused by this. TanYin can be:
- Tangible: mucus or phlegm that coughs up.
- Intangible: secondary disease that can be lymph node, phlegmatic nodule, vertigo or dizziness due to wind mucus and exudative mucus (pus).
Mucosity results from the accumulation of moisture and moisture originates in the malfunction of the Spleen. The Spleen is the source of mucus, the Lung stores and the Kidney administers the uncontrolled fluid that turns into mucus.
We have five types of mucus.
- Moisture Mucosity : insufficiency of the Spleen, generating moisture that turns into mucus. It must dry the moisture and transform the mucus.

Regulate the Qi to achieve the regular movement of the Jin fluid, and thus the mucus will dissipate. Combine herbs capable of disintegrating nodules and unclogging channels.
PS: Do not apply warming and drying herbs on bloody mucus expectoration (false heat), it is necessary to avoid fatty foods, manage to moisten the dryness and transform the mucus.
1.DRYING THE MOISTURE AND TRANSFORMING THE MUCOSITY
Moisture mucus syndrome of easy expectoration and a lot of quantity, discomfort and fullness in the chest and stomach with nausea, dizziness and fatigue in the limbs.

a) Er Chen Tang - It dries moisture and transforms mucus, favors expectoration, regulates Qi and adjusts the center, treats Spleen failure, accumulation of moisture and lack of free movement of Qi through mucus. Treats large amounts of white sputum, nausea, vomiting, laziness of the body and limbs, palpitation.

b) Wen Dan Tang - Regulates Qi and transforms mucus, refreshes the biliary tract and adjusts the stomach. Treats disharmony between Gall Bladder and Stomach, disturbance inside due to heat and mucus. Symptoms of anxiety and insomnia, emotional restlessness with startle, vomiting and gastric reflux.

2. ELIMINATE HEAT AND TRANSFORM MUCOSITY
For heat mucus syndrome manifesting cough with mucus viscosity Yellow.

a) Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan - Eliminates heat and transforms mucus, regulates Qi and stops coughing. Improves yellow and difficult sputum, oliguria and yellow.

b) Xiao Xian Xiong Tang - Eliminates heat and transforms mucus, relieves the chest and disintegrates the mucus-exudative mass (annoyance below the heart).

4. ELIMINATE WIND AND MASTER HUMIDITY
These formulas are used for Bi syndrome with pain. Blockage of cold wind and humidity (rheumatism).
The) Gui Zhi Shao Yao Zhi Mu Tang - Chronic Wind Heat and Humidity BI Syndrome (Rheumatism) by accumulation of pathogens (cold wind and humidity). Swollen and painful joints with burning heat (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc).
B) Du Huo Ji Shen Tang - Tones the Qi, chronic Bi syndrome with pain (wind damp and cold). Disperses wind, eliminates moisture, makes joints flexible. 5. OSMOTIC AND DIURETIC FUNCTION
Urinary retention syndromes, stranguria (painful urination), cloudy urine, edema, etc.
The) Wu Ling San - Increases the yang Qi of the Bladder. Promotes yang, favors evaporation and facilitates diuresis. For discomfort in the lower abdomen due to fullness and dilatation in the Bladder.
