Gorse
For those who have given up on believing or hoping. Gorse represents a more intense kind of despondency and dismay than Gentian, for in the Gorse state people adamantly refuse to be encouraged, so certain are they that their case has no possible solution. When sick, they always feel that their illness is incurable and that nothing can be done.
Still, Dr. Bach considered it a remedy for uncertainty, and didn't put it with the flowers for despair, along with Sweet Chestnut . And this reveals that the central problem in Gorse is lack of faith, loss of hope and self-confidence. When we allow ourselves to see situations from a different perspective, there is always a way out. It is this awareness that Gorse floral helps to have.
The description of Dr. Bach
Due to great hopelessness, they stopped believing that anything could be done for them. Under persuasion or to please others, they may try different treatments, but they are constantly telling those around them that there is little hope of relief.
