Plant characteristics:

   The floral Holly [Ilex aquefolium] comes from the flowers of trees that do not bear fruit, the leaves of Holly are always green and shiny. In the months of May and June there is flowering where the tree exudes an intense perfume, which produces a nectar much sought after by bees. In the lower parts of the plant, there are flowers with thorns, where at the top they are rarer. It is a tree that grows very slowly, but it is considered a very strong plant.

   It is often thought of as the remedy for anger but that is not necessarily its application. Anger is a secondary feeling, so a deeper look is needed to understand the cause. The anger based on  impatience  requires another floral, the one that comes from the  loss of control  yet another. Likewise if the anger is motivated by feelings of  personal injustice  or for not supporting the  social injustice , totally different remedies will be used.

   Holly is actually a floral suitable for very negative and aggressive feelings towards others, such as hatred, distrust, envy or disdain. The problem at the heart of these emotions is the absence of love, and floral works to promote our generosity of spirit and our openness to others.
