1. HEAT IN THE LAYER  OF IQ

a) Bai Hu Tang  - action to eliminate heat and tonify Qi with changes in the Yang Ming (Stomach channel).

b) Zhu Ye Shi Gao Tang - action of tonifying the Qi and Yin, takes away the summer heat that presents malaise, sweat and nausea.

2. HEAT IN YING FEN AND REFRESH THE BLOOD

   With the invasion in the nutritive layer (Ying Fen) heating the blood, the patient will present symptoms such as delirium, insomnia, hemorrhage, purpura.

a) Qing Ying Tang - action in heat with Blood stasis and Yin deficiency.

b) Yi Jiao Di Huang Tang - action of heat on vessels and loss of blood. Eliminates heat, refreshes the Blood,  detoxifies and eliminates stasis.

3. HEAT IN QI FEN AND YING FEN

   With heating in the layers of Qi and nutrition, the patient experiences exuberant heat, sore throat, high fever, skin blemishes, heat in the heart. We have to nourish the yin, purge the fire, heal the delusion and mental confusion.

4. ANTIPYRETIC AND DETOXICANT

   Action  of eliminating heat, purging fire, detoxifying poison, wounds, constipation, yellow urine, heat loss of blood, pain and euphoria.

 

a) Huang Lian Jie Du Tang - action of treating damp heat and pustules.

b) Liang Ge San  - action in the dispersion of heat with dryness presenting hemorrhages and tonifies the yin.

c) Pu Ji Xiao Du Yin  - action of sedating the toxic heat wind that attacks the eyes, throat and mouth.

5. ELIMINATES HEAT IN THE ORGANS AND VISCERAS

   Eliminates heat in organs and viscera by external attack. It also deals with channels.

 

a) Dao Chi San  - purges heat from the Heart and Small Intestine.

b) Long Dan Xie Gan Tang  - discharges wet heat from the Liver and Gallbladder.

c) Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang  - eliminates heat from the lung.

d) Xie Bai San - Purging heat from the Lung and false heat by disconnecting the Kidney.

e) Qing Wei San  - purges Stomach heat and refreshes Blood.

f) Shao Yao Tang  - eliminates heat from the Stomach and Intestines. Treats diarrhea and dysentery.

g) Bai Tou Weng Tang  - eliminates heat from the Triple Bottom Heater and detoxifies the  poison, refreshes Blood, dysentery, tonifies Yin (from chronic loss of Jin (ye) ) and blood in feces.

h) Zuo Jin Wan  - Liver Fire Syndrome that attacks the Stomach.

6. ELIMINATE FALSE HEAT

   Action  of nourishing the Yin, it expels heat, evaporation heat and false heat.

a) Qing Hao Bie Jia Tang - action of treating false heat, yin deficiency heat which presents chronic fever and night fever  and expels the heat.

b) Qing Gu San  - action in heat due to Yin deficiency, false heat, Yang exhaustion (night fever).
