   Mimulus [Mimulus guttatus] is a plant that grows on the banks of rivers and is always close to water, where it takes root in soil and rocks. Slowly, mimulus takes root with more property where it is installed, living more out of the water than in it. Anyway, the watercourse washes its leaves and  it drags its seeds, which will further grow new Mimulus plants. The plant can also be found in moist and even swampy soil.
