ANTI-HELMINTIC SUBSTANCES

  Anthelmintic substances

      Shi Jun Zi (Fructus Quisqualis Indicae) - 6 to 10 g

      Ku Lian Pi (Cortex Meliae Radicis) - 6 to 15 g

      Bin lang (Semen Arecae Catechu) - 10 to 15 g

      Nan Gua Zi (Semen Cucurbitae Moschatae) - Pumpkin Seed - 60 to 120 g

   Substances that expel or kill intestinal parasites are known as anthelmintics. They kill or expel intestinal parasitosis that cause symptoms of pain and distension in and around the navel, loss or excess of appetite, anal itching, ears and nose, and pale yellow complexion.

   The anthelmintic substances are combined with others according to the patient's symptoms and physical constitution:

- Purgative substances for the strong and robust;

- Spleen and stomach tonic for people with disabilities or the elderly;

- Digestives for patients who experience dyspepsia;

- Herbs of a warm nature for cold symptoms.

   You must first tone and harmonize before giving the anthelmintic. In case of severe pain, we should apply tranquilizers for the worms and relieve colic and only then apply the anthelmintic.

   Generally, anthelmintics are used in large doses and on an empty stomach so that the substance can act directly on the parasites and obtain better effects.
