White Chestnut

It is the remedy for unwanted thoughts and mental arguments that creep into our train of thought and prevent us from concentrating.

White Chestnut thoughts are often described as "distressing." But they are not related to anxiety or fear, they are rather distressing because they are repetitive. They worry the way a dog worries about grabbing its tail, meaning these thoughts go nowhere, they just move in circles, circling around in the person's head like a broken disk.

The floral helps you to think straight, thus allowing you to deal with the underlying problems calmly and rationally.

The description of Dr. Bach

For those who cannot prevent thoughts, ideas and justifications they do not wish to enter their minds. This usually occurs when the interests of the moment aren't strong enough to keep the mind busy. These are thoughts that worry, linger and, even if for a moment they can be set aside, they return. They seem to go round and round and cause mental torture. The presence of these unpleasant thoughts destroys peace and interferes with the ability to think only about the work or pleasure of the day.
