Plant characteristics:

   Wild Oat [Bromus ramosus] is a perennial plant, a type of grass, which differs in one aspect: common grasses usually cover the entire soil, and  Wild Oat grows lightly among trees, usually in wetter and shady lands.

   For those who feel they want to do something with their life that is really worthwhile, but don't know which direction to take. They drift from one thing to another without finding their true path. As a result, they become frustrated and discouraged.

   We can compare the Wild Oat state to the state  Scleranthus . In the latter there are no doubts about the objective, just inability to decide how to reach it. For example, you know you want to get married but you can't choose a mate – that would be the Scleranthus type of problem, a matter of deciding between a limited number of options.

   In Wild Oat state, the objective itself is less defined. For example, you know you want a life full of meaning, but you can't decide if it means getting married or being single….finding a career…changing religion? It's much harder for Wild Oat to define his options because his objective is not clear.
